Fancy tasting local flavours, strolling among the stalls or discovering an unexpected find ? In Aigues-Mortes, the markets and flea market invite you to experience the heart of the medieval town.

Throughout the week, Avenue Frédéric Mistral and the town’s streets take on the feel of a village square. Pick up a few groceries, chat with the local vendors, taste regional specialities… or simply soak up the atmosphere.

Le marché d'Aigues-Mortes

Every Wednesday and Sunday morning, the traditional market sets up along Avenue Frédéric Mistral, from 8 am to 12:30 pm, all year round.

Stroll among the stalls and be tempted by artisan fougasses, Vins des Sables wines, local cheeses and cured meats, as well as textiles, clothing and accessories.

A few local products in your basket, a still-warm fougasse under your arm… and every reason to carry on exploring the fortified town.

Browsing the flea market

Aigues-Mortes - Brocante

Every Saturday morning, from 28 March to 28 November 2026, the traditional flea market takes place on Avenue Frédéric Mistral, from 8 am to 12 pm.

There’s no need to know exactly what you’re looking for. Take your time to browse, look around and see what catches your eye. Among the stalls, you might come across an old book, a poster, a vinyl record, a collector’s item or some vintage tableware you never planned on taking home.

Whether you’re a collector, a vintage enthusiast or simply curious, enjoy browsing the stalls and seeing what treasures and unexpected finds you might come across.
