In 2014, the Camargue gardoise was awarded the Grand Site de France label, which recognizes the high quality of its landscapes, their preservation and enhancement. The Maison du Grand Site de France - La Marette is a resource center for discovering the heritage of the Gard Camargue, as well as information about its label. It features a rich museography, travelling exhibitions, a specialized store and a walking trail.
