Horseback riding

Looking for an authentic adventure in Aigues-Mortes? Nothing better than soaking up the Camargue spirit on horseback! With family or friends, horseback riding is accessible to everyone.

Aigues-Mortes and the Camargue on horseback

In the meadows where bulls reign supreme, in the shade of the pine forests or along the beach, a horseback ride is a sure way to awaken all our senses. We are thrust into an immense playground, at the heart of this unspoiled land. Flamingos, herons and other birds amaze us! The landscapes change with the seasons, we get lost in the beauty and let ourselves roam at the horse's pace.

It's time for the excursion! The guide takes us to meet our four-legged companions. After adjusting our strirrups, he instructs us on essentials of riding: safty rules, how to steer and stop our horses.

Walking is the best gait for firs time riders. Trying bull sorting like a herdsman and galloping on the beach or through the marshes, is reserved for those more experienced.

The surroundings are peaceful... we let ourselves be carried as we take in the sites... the hour goes by way too fast!
