The “Birds of the Camargue” photography workshops invite you to observe and photograph the rich variety of bird species that inhabit the marshes throughout the seasons. Greater flamingos, present all year round, share these wetlands with many other iconic birds, including little egrets, cattle egrets, grey herons, pied avocets, black-winged stilts, ibises and Eurasian spoonbills.
At sunrise, enjoy exclusive access to Parc ornithologique de Pont de Gau and explore the Camargue’s marshes and reed beds in a privileged setting. Depending on the season, different species can be observed and photographed. The ponds and walking trails offer a wide variety of viewpoints, allowing you to experiment with sunlight and different lighting conditions, including backlighting, front lighting and side lighting. An ideal experience for trying different compositions and capturing a wide range of photographs in an outstanding natural setting!
