Photography Workshops : “Horses on the Beach” - Cécile Domens

The “Horses on the Beach” photography workshops offer the opportunity to capture the white horses of the Camargue in an exceptional setting, between the sea and the sand. Accompanied by horseback-riding gardians (Camargue cowboys), the horses take part in different scenes designed to provide ideal photography conditions, with carefully managed distances, positioning and lighting.

Throughout the session, several passes allow you to photograph the horses from different angles and in a variety of settings: galloping through the sea, running along the sand, moving along the water’s edge, head-on or side-on shots, low-angle views, as well as portraits and close-ups when the herd is standing still. A great opportunity to experiment with different compositions and leave with a wonderful collection of photos!

Programme:

> 30 to 45 minutes of photography tips;
> carpooling to the photography location, which is reserved exclusively for the group;
> 1 hour and 30 minutes of photography.

Open to all levels, from beginners to experienced photographers, these workshops take place in small groups of 7 to 10 participants in Aigues-Mortes or the surrounding area.
